WORLD SNOOKER has announced it is reducing the number of places open to Q School graduates from 12 to 8.
A statement from the governing body said: “This decision has been made as a consequence of the global expansion of the sport and the increased demand for tour places from international players.”
The cost of entering Q School will drop from £1,000 to £600 for the two events, which will be held at the Capital Venue in Gloucester after the World Championship in May.
